Southern Heritage Bank and Micah A. Walker, MBA, Assistant Vice President – Marketing & Public Relations, were recognized by the Public Relations Association of Louisiana – Central Chapter for outstanding work in the field of Public Relations.
Entries were judged on their individual merit by PR practitioners from outside the area of competition. Award-winning entries are recognized with Awards of Merit, Awards of Excellence, and the top tier – Cypress Award.
Micah was honored with the highest individual honor given by the chapter – Practitioner of the Year. Southern Heritage Bank was honored with a Cypress Award, one Award of Excellence and three Awards of Merit for work done in 2021. Two campaigns were honored – Buy. Build. Refinance. mortgage lending campaign and the Add A Little Lagniappe checking account campaign. A project to increase website traffic for the bank was also honored.
