Randy Ponthie, Senior Vice President of Southern Heritage Bank, announced that Candi Connella has joined Southern Heritage as Vice President / Lender. Candi will join the Downtown Alexandria office located at 701 4th Street, Suite B, Alexandria.
“Candi is an excellent addition to our lending team,” said Ponthie. “She has the knowledge and experience to help our existing and new clients and we are excited to have her join our team of experienced lenders.”
Connella joins Southern Heritage with more than 12 years of banking experience in both lending and branch management areas.
Connella received her Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She holds a Life and Health Insurance License and is registered with the National Mortgage Licensing Systems and Registry (NMLS).

She is active in the local community and has been a member of the Board of Directors of the River Oaks Square Arts Center since 2014. She is also active in the Junior League of Alexandria, having served in several leadership positions. She is also a member of the Young Professionals Group of Central Louisiana, North Rapides Business and Industry Alliance, Greater Central Louisiana REALTORS Association and is a children’s Sunday School teacher at Philadelphia Baptist Church.
