Job Title: Part Time Janitor – Jonesville
FSLA Status: non-exempt
Summary
Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
Hourly- Evenings after 5 p.m.
Monday- Friday 5-9 p.m. hours very
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following.
performs routine office cleaning duties, including vacuuming floors, spot cleaning walls, cleaning desks, furniture and fixtures, vacuuming drapes and dusting venetian blinds, cleaning interior glass, emptying & removing trash. Cleans Restrooms: Performs routine restroom cleaning. Using a germicide, cleans and sanitizes toilets and urinals, spot cleans walls and partitions, and cleans and rinses sinks and counters. Using a standard glass cleaner, cleans mirrors and other glass and stainless steel. Dust, sweep floors, pull trash, restock supplies, mop floors, and spot cleans carpets.
Common Area Cleaning: Vacuum large carpeted areas, dust mops floors as needed, cleans entrance mats, follow all health and safety regulations requirements, notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs, Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferred.
Custodial Experience: 1 year, preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform routine physical activity with dusting, trashing, and operating equipment such as a vacuum cleaner. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Extensive repeated twisting and stooping required. Visual acuity to the extent that the person can see stains on carpets, dust on surfaces, trash or small items on the floor, etc.
